GREEK SALENTO
On the night of the Taranta, an itinerant festivity typical of the Greek Salentina region, everyone dances. And every year, the square of the former Augustinian Convent in Melpignano becomes the hub of the Night of the Taranta, the mega Mediterranean rave party that concludes the Taranta festivities. For the entire month, following the “pizzicato” calendar which wends its way through the Griki districts, every night there is a different concert every evening, a series of appointments with music and the popular "pizzica" dance.

Just one quick word of advice: after the international “pizzica” in Lecce and
in Melpignano try the “pizzica” in smaller towns like Torrepaduli and Galatina.
